  30. You thought it odd??  We looked at AFS for this very reason!  We never had
  31. a reasonable explanation for this, except that the failed units were
  32. non-Segate drives (actually, I think they were Conner), and they developed
  33. read/write errors.  I never had the time to look into the problem
  34. properly, and the bosses at work got kinda gun-shy at spending more time
  35. investigating the problem, especially when we could mandate that the
  36. manufacturer use Segate drives, and have few problems anyway.

  38. However, the playback of anims was much improved, but we noticed a
  39. slowdown in the playback of diskanims.
