- You thought it odd?? We looked at AFS for this very reason! We never had
- a reasonable explanation for this, except that the failed units were
- non-Segate drives (actually, I think they were Conner), and they developed
- read/write errors. I never had the time to look into the problem
- properly, and the bosses at work got kinda gun-shy at spending more time
- investigating the problem, especially when we could mandate that the
- manufacturer use Segate drives, and have few problems anyway.

- slowdown in the playback of diskanims.
